Quick answer
Feed the AI your services, your best customers, and the questions they always ask. It drafts a page built on benefits and proof, not a list of features.

Basis (estimate): Estimate only: a full services page draft typically takes a business owner several hours of writing and rewriting; no timed study found.
What does this setup do?
Draft a services page around customer benefits, real proof, and one clear call to action per service.
Who is it for?
Small business owners whose website lists services like a menu and gets inquiries from people who are not a fit.
How do you set it up?
Tools
- A chat AI (free tier works; Claude is strong at longer copy)
- Your service list with one-line descriptions
- Two or three real customer outcomes or testimonials
- The five questions prospects always ask before buying
Steps
- Write down each service in one plain sentence: what it is and who it is for.
- List the questions every prospect asks before hiring you. These become your FAQ and your objection handling.
- Gather proof: testimonials with names, before/after details, years in business, number of jobs done.
- Paste everything plus the prompt below into the AI.
- Read the draft and cut anything that sounds like every competitor. Keep what sounds like you.
- Check the call to action on every service block. Each one should tell the reader exactly what to do next.
- Publish one page per main service if you can, not one long page for everything.
Example output
Illustrative. Your results will differ.
- Your draft rewritten: clear, polite, half the length
- Tone matched to a work email, not a text
- Send the version that sounds like you.

Copy-paste prompt
Adapt bracketed fields to your situation.
Draft a services page for my small business website. Plainspoken, confident tone. Write for the customer, not about me.
Business: [BUSINESS NAME]: [WHAT YOU DO, WHERE]
Services (one line each):
1. [SERVICE]: [WHO IT IS FOR]
2. [SERVICE]: [WHO IT IS FOR]
3. [SERVICE]: [WHO IT IS FOR]
Proof I can use (only use what is listed here, do not invent any):
- [TESTIMONIAL WITH NAME, or "X years in business", or "X jobs completed"]
- [SECOND PROOF ITEM]
Questions prospects always ask:
- [QUESTION 1]
- [QUESTION 2]
- [QUESTION 3]
Structure the page:
1. Headline: say what I do and who it is for in one line. No clever wordplay.
2. For each service: what it is, who it fits, the outcome the customer gets (benefit, not feature), and a call to action ("Get a quote", "Book a walkthrough").
3. A short proof section using only my proof items above.
4. An FAQ answering the prospect questions in two sentences each.
5. One final call to action.
Rules: benefits over features. Short paragraphs. Every claim must come from my inputs above.Newsletter

What usually goes wrong?
Where agents tend to stall on this job. More patterns in Where AI gets stuck.
- The AI invents testimonials or statistics. The prompt forbids this, but check every proof claim against your real inputs.
- A page that describes the business instead of the customer. If every paragraph starts with "we", rewrite it to start with "you".
- No call to action, or a weak one. "Contact us" is weak. "Get a quote in 24 hours" tells the reader what happens next.

Common questions
- How long should a services page be?
- As long as it takes to answer the buyer questions and no longer. For most local services, a few hundred words per service with proof and an FAQ is plenty.
- Should each service get its own page?
- Yes, if you have more than two or three distinct services. Separate pages let you speak to each buyer directly and give search engines a clear topic per page.
- Can the AI write the whole page unsupervised?
- It can draft it, but you must check two things: every proof claim is real, and it sounds like you. Publish nothing you have not read fully.
What tips make it smoother?
- Your headline should pass the grunt test: a stranger reads it and knows what you do in five seconds.
- Benefits, not features. "Careful edging" is a feature. "A lawn that looks sharp from the street" is a benefit.
- One page per service beats one page for everything. It ranks better and reads better.
- Steal your FAQ from real life. The questions people ask on the phone are the questions the page must answer.
