Unit 2: Stop it inventing · Lesson 1 of 4 · about 6 min
Prep for a meeting in one screen
You own a bakery. You meet a cafe owner tomorrow about a wholesale bread order. The email thread is long. You want one screen: what is agreed, what is open, and anything in your calendar that clashes.
You're practising: Separating what is agreed from what is still open, without your AI answering questions only you can answer.
The mistake to catch: AI fills gaps with confident guesses: an answer only you know, "done" for unfinished work, one number when sources disagree.
1. Open the prompt
Open Prep for meetings from the right email threadand copy its prompt into your AI. Any AI works.
2. Give it this sample data
Meeting: Tue Nov 3, 2:00-3:00 PM with Rosa (Corner Cup Cafe) Email thread so far: - Rosa wants 40 loaves a week: sourdough and rye. - You quoted $6.00 per sourdough loaf and $5.50 per rye loaf. - Rosa accepted, with Tuesday deliveries starting Nov 10. - Rosa asked for ingredient lists for her allergen signs. - Rosa asked whether your rye uses caraway. - Rosa copied her manager Luis to confirm the Tuesday delivery window. Your calendar on Nov 3: - 2:00-2:30 PM: Delivery drop-off at Main St Market
Your task: Ask your AI for a one-screen prep note: what is agreed, open questions, and any calendar conflict. It must not answer questions only you can answer.
3. Paste your AI's answer
Checked in your browser with plain rules. Your answer isn't sent or stored anywhere.
