Unit 5: Put the urgent thing first · Lesson 3 of 4 · about 6 min

Get a one-screen weekly brief

It is Sunday, Nov 1. You want one screen for the week: what is due, where you need to be, and what people asked you.

You're practising: Putting money that is due soon first, and flagging a missing amount instead of guessing it.

The mistake to catch: AI lists things in the order it read them, not in the order they matter.

1. Open the prompt

Open Weekly personal brief from calendar and inboxand copy its prompt into your AI. Any AI works.

2. Give it this sample data

Calendar:
- Dentist cleaning, Tue Nov 3, 9:00 AM
- School parent meeting, Thu Nov 5, 4:00 PM
- Away soccer game, Sat Nov 7, 10:00 AM (leave by 9:00)

Email:
- Electric bill: $142.18, due Mon Nov 2
- Car insurance: "Your policy renews Nov 5." (no amount in the email)
- Streaming renewal: $15.99 on Nov 20
- Neighbor: "Can I borrow your ladder Saturday?"
- A store promo, a newsletter, a social notification

Your task: Ask your AI for a one-screen brief: money due soonest first, where you need to be, what people asked, and anything it could not find.

3. Paste your AI's answer

Checked in your browser with plain rules. Your answer isn't sent or stored anywhere.
