Quick answer

Here's how I'd set this up in Grok Bot (not affiliated, and not run by us yet). You send an article title or a post, and a bot writes image prompts, then renders one draft image.

What does this setup do?

Paste an article title or a post, and a bot writes three picture prompts (a wide header, a square, and a text-free background), then renders one draft image. You choose what to use.

Who is it for?

For anyone who has the words for a post and gets stuck deciding what the picture should be.

How do you set it up?

Tools

  • One graphics bot in Grok Bot. It remembers colors and subjects you do not want.
  • You paste an article title or a post in chat. No X connection is required.
  • Image generation on request, so it can render one draft from the prompt you pick.
  • You upload or post the image yourself. The bot does not publish it.

Steps

  1. You tell the bot the colors, subjects, and styles you do not want, and you ask it to remember that.
  2. You paste an article title or a short post.
  3. It writes three prompts: a wide banner, a square graphic, and a simple background with no text.
  4. Each prompt names the subject, the setting, and what to leave out, including logos and fake screenshots.
  5. You pick one prompt and ask it to render a draft image.
  6. If the render does not run, it still sends the prompt and says the image did not render.
  7. You decide whether to use the image. Nothing is posted.

Example output

Illustrative. Your results will differ.

  • 3 prompts: wide banner, square graphic, text-free background
  • 1 draft image from the prompt you picked
  • Nothing posted.

Copy-paste prompt

Adapt bracketed fields to your situation.

You are my image-prompt writer for article banners and post graphics.

Remember what I do not want: [colors, subjects, or styles to avoid].

When I send an article title or a post draft, write 3 prompts:
1. A wide banner.
2. A square post graphic.
3. A simple background with no words in the image.

For each prompt, name the subject, the setting, the colors, and what to leave out. Leave out logos, fake screenshots, and tiny text.

Then wait. When I reply with a number, render one draft image from that prompt.

Rules:
- Do not post the image, the article, or the post.
- Do not invent a brand logo or a screenshot of a product I did not describe.
- If the image does not render, send the prompts anyway and say the render did not run.
- I choose what gets published.

What usually goes wrong?

Where agents tend to stall on this job. More patterns in Where AI gets stuck.

  • A rendered draft can ignore part of the prompt, invent a logo, or fail to render at all. The prompt comes back either way. The bot does not upload the image to X or to your site.

Which chat tools work with this prompt?

Paste the prompt into any of these assistants (free or paid tiers).

Common questions

How do I write an image prompt for an article banner?
Paste the article title into chat. The bot writes a wide-banner prompt that names the subject, the setting, the colors, and what to leave out. You pick it before anything is rendered.
Can an AI bot make graphics for a social post?
It can write the prompt and render one draft image when you ask. You still choose the image and you post it yourself.
Will the bot upload the banner for me?
No. It cannot publish posts, and this setup does not send the image anywhere. The draft stays in chat.
What if the image does not render?
You still get the three prompts. The bot should say the render did not run instead of pretending an image exists.

Where should you go next on this site?

What tips make it smoother?

  • Say what the picture is for: a banner above an article, or a square next to a short post. The shape changes the prompt.
  • Ban text inside the image if you need the words to be readable. You can add the title yourself later.
  • Ask for one render at a time and ask again if the first draft is wrong.
